Cybersecurity Awareness Month
OVERVIEW
Cybersecurity Awareness Month is an annual global initiative that aims to educate and empower users on how to stay safe from cybercrime. Every year during the month of October, the IT department has a series of events focused on providing education and resources to the university to increase the cyber safety of the community.
Events include:
- Weekly Quizzes
- Townhall/Panel
- Tabling events
- Newsletter
- Annual campus cybersecurity training
ROLE
Manage and coordinate all of the events for Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Managed all communication, including designing and creating weekly quizzes, newsletters, digital signage, flyers, and town hall/panel advertising. Organized and moderated Town Hall (2023) and Security Panel (2024).




ITS Fiesta – A month of learning
OVERVIEW
A month-long training program featuring eleven workshops, talks, and product demos for faculty and staff on IT products and services. Products and services included Poll Everywhere, survey building, campus printing services, Echo 360, GetMarked, and more.
ROLE
Directed the marketing strategy, including developing and executing branding, print and digital collateral, email campaigns, web content, and social media promotions to maximize engagement and attendance.



Department Communication
OVERVIEW
Collaborated with service owners to keep content updated in the ITS Service Catalog and Knowledge Base and created original training content, including instructions, handouts, graphics, and videos.
Created content for multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, website, signage, print collateral) and coordinated awareness and orientation events.
Designed marketing swag, signage, graphics, and related materials and promotes ITS services throughout the university.
